Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CoachSnipe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

CoachSnipe is a web-based hockey team management platform that allows users to:
- Create and manage hockey teams
- Organize player rosters and lineups
- Schedule and manage games
- Generate roster reports
- Invite team members and collaborate

User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One person or entity may maintain only one account

Subscription and Billing

  • CoachSnipe offers various subscription plans with different features and team limits
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • We use Stripe as our payment processor; your payment information is handled according to Stripe's terms and security standards
  • Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

Trial Period

  • New users receive a 30-day free trial
  • Trial accounts have limited team creation capabilities
  • No payment information is required during the trial period
  • Trials automatically expire unless converted to a paid subscription

User Content and Data

  • You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service
  • You grant CoachSnipe a license to use your content solely to provide the Service
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Upload malicious software or engage in harmful activities
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
- Share your account credentials with others

Team Management and Invitations

  • Team owners can invite members via email
  • Invited members must accept invitations to join teams
  • Team owners can manage member roles and permissions
  • Members can be removed by team owners at any time

Data Storage and Backup

  • We store your data securely and maintain regular backups
  • Deleted data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days
  • You are responsible for maintaining your own data backups if desired

Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for data loss due to service interruptions

Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policies

Limitation of Liability

CoachSnipe is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Data loss or corruption
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Damages exceeding the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or service notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law
